 Terms and conditions of sale

– These terms of sale apply to all goods and services supplied by The Soft Water Company (G.B.) Ltd.

– Placing a verbal or written order with us deems acceptance of our terms and conditions

– You have the right to cancel the contract at anytime up to fourteen days before we supply goods or commence work with a return of any deposit paid by you.

– Any cancellation thereafter could result in the deposit or part thereof being forfeited.

– Any order requested for fulfilment before 14 days of order placement will have deemed to have waived cancellation rights.

– Our quotation to you is based on our initial survey and/or information gathered from you.

– If after commencing work we experience fitting issues because of unforeseen or undisclosed complications arising from the building or plumbing structure, then extra labour, time and materials are subject to additional charges as advised.

– A call out charge will be made for any visit which cannot be completed due to the failure of the customer to attend the location at the pre-arranged date and time.

– You will become the owner of the goods once they are paid for in full and responsible for risk of loss or damage once they have been delivered or installed.

– Any damage or malfunction caused to the equipment because of moving the unit, the pipework, fittings or any other tampering intentional or otherwise, is subject to a service charge fee for attendance, travel, and materials.

– If you think you are experiencing issues of machine malfunction we will telephone you within one week of your reporting the issue. Problem-solving is explained in your handbook as well as the regeneration and bypass instructions left with you on the day of installing the machine.

– Most problems can be overcome by telephone consultation as well as handbooks referral; however, if you are unable to resolve the issue we will ask you to bypass the machine. We will also undertake to inspect the unit within one month of our telephone consultation. If the labour time warranty has expired then our diagnostic inspection is chargeable at current rates.

– If after inspection a machine component requires replacement then we will advise you accordingly including any further chargeable costs.  Once the component has been ordered and delivered we will undertake to replace it within one month of the component delivery in to ourselves.
